Note from students......

The students are checking the blog everyday to see which parents have commented on our photos.  They have asked me to post a message requesting more feedback!  :)

A special thank you to all of the talented knitters that helped make these bears for these children.
I wish you could see the joy you brought them.  xoxo

This morning we had a wonderful breakfast with the children living at the orphanage with us.  After we ate, we made the sandwiches and "bagged" rice milk to bring to the residents of "Dump City".

Day Two

We were all up early after a good night's rest.  This morning we are making "black bean and cheese sandwiches" for the people living in "Dump City".  We will spend time at the "city" handing out the sandwiches as well as the donated clothing, flip flops, dish towels, and toiletries.  Then we head to a daycare center to play with the children and give them teddy bears that we handknit with love for them.  We will end our day at Hearts In Motion's Rehabilitation Center.  We will be sure to post pictures at the end of our rewarding day!
